  Engelund Fotos is the website of photographer Lars Engelund. Although Lars Engelund is not a well-known photographer in the general public, his talent has not gone unnoticed. He has even been offered to become an ambassador for Nikon – an offer he kindly declined in order to maintain his freedom to use different equipment.

  Lars Engelund has contributed images to various magazines and journals. His works have even been exhibited in prominent places such as the UN building in New York. His photographic journey began with wedding photography and later developed into documentation of business shipments. This has given him a unique photography style that combines photojournalism with an artistic perspective.

  Today, Lars focuses on landscapes, urban environments and moments of life. He seeks inspiration in places where the Satnav does not necessarily lead you, which testifies to his curiosity and passion for exploring the unknown.

The Future

  I’m on a mission with Engelund Fotos: to fully embrace my passion for creating projects that include stunning still images, captivating videos, and engaging e-books. My focus is shifting toward showcasing the beautiful Danish landscapes, vibrant urban settings, and those everyday moments that make life special.

  I love seeking inspiration in hidden gems—places where the Satnav might not lead you. This curiosity fuels my desire to explore the unknown and share it with others. You can expect to find my still images and e-books available as free downloads, perfect for your digital devices or even as prints to brighten up your space.

  When it comes to videos, I’ll be sharing them on YouTube under the name @Len_Journeys (a blend of my first and last name). I draw inspiration from Japanese YouTubers who take us along on their motorcycle adventures across Japan. They don’t just ride for speed; they immerse themselves in local culture, history, and breathtaking scenery outside bustling cities. I’ve particularly been inspired by female riders who prioritize these cultural experiences—and I want to bring that same spirit here to Denmark.

  My interest in storytelling and exploring historical places comes from growing up in a family that values history deeply. Plus, after taking a 15-year break from motorcycle touring, I’ve recently rediscovered the joy of riding. Now, I’m hitting those charming little parish roads again and loving every moment of it!
